Ai.intel is an AI generated app which scans, analyses and compiles information on any business sector showing all companies in that sector listed by an “AI score” weighted index before AI “enriching” this data with detailed analysis of metrics like turnover, net asset value, annual growth and net financial assets. The results can be viewed online or exported via CSV. Ai.intel is an ideal tool for investigating a market sector or helping business acquisitions and disposals.

Ai.intel searches Companies House — the definitive UK business register — to find every active company in any sector. It then enriches each result with live financial data and uses Claude AI to score, rank and summarise each business. The result is a ranked, filtered, exportable intelligence report in minutes rather than days.

How it works

Step 1 — Setup

Choose your sector,
configure your search

Select from preset sectors — software, IT consultancy, beverage retail, restaurants, management consulting — or enter any SIC code. Set Scotland-only or UK-wide, results per page and date filters.

Ai.intel queries Companies House in real time, paginating through every active company in the chosen sector. A live log shows progress. Results are stored in session so you can return without re-running.

Results ranked by
AI weighted index

Companies are ranked by AI score — a 0–100 index weighted by financial strength, years trading, asset base and growth signals. Each card shows the score, financial pills and a plain English AI summary.

Step 4 — AI Enrich

Deep financial analysis

Click Enrich with AI to fetch filed accounts for each company and send the data to Claude in batches for detailed scoring. A confirmation dialog shows the credit cost before running. A cancel button stops at any point.
